Admittedly, this should have gone out last week as it was from last Monday BUT it's still showing a day in the life with my NaNo word count as of last Monday. Check out my NaNo page for some sneaky info on my project! This at the moment is our routine, naps are fairly consistent so we try and work everything them although as you'll see, things don't always go to plan. Just a shortened version of my day, giving you a five minute insight into how I find time to write. Writing is very much a way for me to relax and sort of escape reality for a little bit - I don't think we should buy our heads in the sand but writing does give me a sense of calm (although it probably doesn't always seem like it!) . As always a like over on YouTube, even a subscribing to my channel, are great ways to support me on my author journey.

We are officially about two thirds of the way through NaNoWriMo for November 2020! My word count is around 37,000 which I'm ecstatic about. In this video, I thought I'd share my planning process with you. The way I plan now has come from learning how not to do things! I've adapted and modified my process and this seems to be working for me right now. If you have a chaotic brain like me then this could even help you! Check out the process below! You'll get to see my notes, my planning document on my laptop and the ever helpful: planning board (the best tool I use). Don't forget that liking and subscribing to my channel are ways you could support and I hope to see you over there! Thanks for watching :) Did I achieve my term 1 writing goals? Tweaking 'Kanban board' system for writing goals in term 2!11/11/2020 The title says it all! It was really good to go back and see what I had achieved - especially when you feel like you never succeed! So for me, this was a great task. Do you look back to see what you've managed to accomplish? I highly recommend! I've adopted (but tweaked) a new planning method for goals with a 'Kanban board' which I've seen many people do. Of course I had to put my own spin on it - it's probably now nothing like a Kanban board but I'm going with it! Want to see what that is? Watch the video below! I'd love to hear how others set out their goals for the month/quarter/however far ahead you plan for! Before I go, I know it's been a few weeks but the office has taken a while to sort out (the room I used to use is uninhabitable!) so only just been able to get into a semi-finished office space! Office tour to come soon! As always, giving the video a thumbs up over on YouTube (and subscribing to my channel!) really helps and thoroughly appreciated! xxx |
