February Stationary Supplies: a mini haul!

I don’t know about you but I’ve really gotten into stationary and feel a bit nerdy looking for new supplies! This is what I’ve treated myself to in February’s mini haul. Do you have a favourite?
First up is a pack of new pens. These were really cheap (although I did want to get some of the awesome Frixion pens, but they were too much considering what else I wanted to buy this month, so I left them – one day though!). The pens I did get are ballpoint ones and came in different colours: black, blue, green, purple, pink.

Next up is some of these sticky tab things because I used nearly all of mine when I was looking for quotes and passages in HUNTED to use in promotional material. With the different colours, it means I can signpost different aspects of a book when looking for quotes. Typical I look for short one liners, paragraphs and then longer passages for posts, blogs and advertisement (although don’t talk to me about advertisement – I don’t get it…)

I’m sure anyone who hates mistakes will resonate with this one! Correction tape! Just got this pack inexpensively to see if I’d use it and I can confirm that I already have! It’s mostly for in my weekly planner where crossing something out leaves me with less space. Took me a second to figure out how to use it – not because it’s complicated but because I’m just a special kind of person. And I could still write and highlight over it so win!

The next two things are washi tapes which I’ve become slightly obsessed with thanks to another author, Sarra Cannon, always using it. I feel once you use it, you don’t go back! I like using it to spruce up my planners. It makes me happy to see a bit of colour and decoration; I’m not sure if it makes me more likely to do something/follow my plan? Anyone else in the washi tape love camp?

I bought another lot of 10mm width tape which is perfect for the bottom of my planning pages. I’d originally bought a small selection so this one was much bigger. . . just look at them! I also purchased thinner tape at 3mm. I was aiming for 5mm but these work and gosh, look at how many different designs I have now! I have plenty of tape to last buuuut let’s see how long I can go without buying anymore!

Firmly in the more boring side of things, I needed some printer paper and got two varieties: a thinner 80gsm for normal printing and then 100gsm. The 100gsm is for things that I want to write more on (it helps with printing and working on the paper if I’m using both sides as ink doesn’t show through).

Finally, I wanted a microphone that connected to my phone for recording videos. It wasn’t an expensive one (but the most expensive item out of the items above) so I can see if it does make a difference. I’ve not noticed it during a quick look, but I’ll have to compare when I have a video edited and uploaded!

So that’s February’s stationary roundup! What stationary is your favourite to use?
